John Jewell is our Employee Spotlight for July

We sat down with John Jewell, one of our experienced service technicians, and asked him a few questions about his work and life.




Honda Service Technician - employee spotlightQ. What is your favorite thing about working here? A.  The satisfaction of fixing customer’s vehicles correctly and helping out our customers.

Q. What do your daily responsibilities include?A.  Fixing cars right the first time, every time.  After an assessment of the problem described by the customer, I repair anything that is broken or in need of an update.  Once the work is completed, we test the vehicle to make sure that it is now working correctly before we hand over the paperwork to our Service Advisors.

Q. What is one thing people are surprised to find out about you?A.  I grew up on a farm and thought that I was going to do that my whole life until I was in the AYES technician program.

Q. What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?A.  Hunting. I hunt turkey and deer, and I love being outdoors with my family and friends.
